Podcast Introduction to See Sharp

(Click the above title to hear our very first, audio podcast!!)

Having fun?? If you think that spending all day on a Saturday to figure out how to create a podcast at Blogger is fun, then...well...I have no intention of hanging out with you! But, it's done!

I apologize for the slow loading in...ahem...Quicktime Player. But, in time, I'm going to figure out (or, more likely, have someone else figure out) how to get a podcast to open in something faster [Flash? Anybody have any ideas?]. In the meantime, bear with us. And, by all means, Let The Music Play On!!

Recital

Hey! I see that "our public" was...ahem...SO awe-inspired by my last post that you were left...speechless! Right? That's what it was!

Well, anyway, this past Sunday, February 22nd, at Trinity Luthern Church in Evanston, Illinois, 16 of my wife's students had their recitals. I think we'll get her here now that I've opened a post about her students [the LOVES of her life!]

So, that's it!! Hold tight!! I think we'll see her here soon! Check out the picture she took of her recital students. And I'm like, "But WHY didn't you VIDEO them!" Oy vey!Add Image

Stepp'n Out!!

Okay, listen up. I'm not Karen. Karen's...ahem...on the way (I hope!!) Karen's my sometimes shy, master violin-teacher-wife who (like me) is slowly, but surely, warming up to "Web 2.0," as some of the post-1994 Internet stuff [podcasts, videos, mp3s--all that good stuff] are referred to.

And, hey, we're in no hurry! Soooo, until she's ready to drop in (which I think might happen on this coming Friday, February 27th, 2009) I thought I'd get the ball rolling...uh...the music playing (sorry!), especially since I am the one who's doing the nailing and hammering (Creating this blog; creating her Squidoo page, and, eventually, creating her long-overdue website!)

So, what are we going to be doing here? Loving! Loving about anything violin; loving about music and arts education; loving about violin and music performance; loving about music history; loving about musical instruments, musical books, musical accessories, musical trends, musical tips, musical lips...musical lips!!? Well, you get the idea.

Hey, nuf said! Until next time, enjoy some Sarah Chang--and let the music play on!
